Nathan Benefield is the Director of Policy Research for the Commonwealth Foundation, an independent, non-profit public policy research and educational institute located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

I have researched and written on public policy issues including taxation, government spending, education reform, transportation funding, health care policy, and economic development and I maintain the Commonwealth Foundation's PolicyBlog.

Nathan is a graduate of DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
