I made a Template:WF articles to go on the discussion page of WikiFOIA portal articles. It could use some work. Do you think we can take the "O" from the Portal:WikiFOIA logo and use it in place of the simple rising sun? Do you think we should? Regardless, we can tinker with the Template:WF articles over time but you can start sticking it on discussion pages. Leslie Graves 09:49, 31 January 2009 (CST)

I'd be glad to! Dlopez 13:12, 30 January 2009 (CST)

You are such a trend setter. Check it out: http://ballotpedia.org/wiki/index.php/Template:Connecticut_State_Senators

I'm leaving this note on the user talk page of anyone I notice is working on the My Government Website project.

Check out Sunshine Review:Evaluating government websites and see what you think. Are these directions clear? Are they missing anything?

[edit] News

Hey, just thought I'd get your input on how to report news stories. I've been making an article for each news story and then adding the category for each state like [[Category:STATE News]] so that the stories are automatically listed under the "Accountability Reports" pages for each state.

Check out: Memphis police sue for blogger's name and Tennessee Government Accountability Reports for what I mean (cause that might have not made sense). - Kristinpedia 18:10, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

Hi Kristin, that's a cool trick. What I usually do for transparency news in a state is add it to the "breaking news" section of the portal page, and when that fills up, putting the spillover on a page called [[STATE transparency headlines]] (like Tennessee transparency headlines). I don't always make a new page for every news story, but when I do I'll be sure to put them in the [[Category:STATE News]]! Thanks, Maverick 18:17, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
