  • Excellent Performance Site, complete with targeted outcomes, progress indicators. All community surveys for past 8 years available. Kept up to date.
  • Budget page has current and past budgets, other financial reports. CAFR is on line.[1][2]
  • Audit reeports are on the web site and easy to find.[3]
  • Public meetings, both planned and past are accessible. All are recorded and streamed.[4]
  • Ways to access all services and elected officials are available[5]
  • Public disclosure & public records access are available.[6]
  • Interlocal agreements with other agencies are disclosed.[7] Labor contracts are also disclosed online.[8]
  • Building permits can be applied for online.[9]
  • The contact information for city hall and e-mails for city administrators are disclosed.
  • Posts information about property taxes, but not other local taxes.[10]
  • Bids are posted.[11]

[edit] The bad

  • Web site is not as user friendly as it could be.
  • The different departnments and services are available, but vary widely in their look and feel as well as ease of navigation.
  • Contracts and City checkbook are not on web site.
  • No reference to lobbying efforts.
  • Building permits are fast (see performance measurement information) but online process is not entirely clear.
  • While discussed in meeting minutes, no designated area that discloses lobbying activity.
