Anderson County, Tennessee

Anderson County is one of 95 counties in Tennessee. The county seat is Clinton. It is a member of the National Association of Counties, a taxpayer-funded lobbying association.[1]

Anderson County was named for Joseph Anderson (1757-1847), a US senator, judge, and the first comptroller of the United States treasury.
