The Pennsylvania Taxpayer Transparency Act, or Senate Bill 105, was introduced in Pennsylvania January of 2009.

[edit] Pennsylvania Taxpayer Transparency Act
This General Assembly bill intended to create an online, searchable database of budgetary information. Pennsylvania Transparency Advocates and taxpayer activists have expressed support for an earlier version of the bill.[1][2]
Key Points:
- A database driven website will be developed.
- The budget information available online will include sources of income, amount of funds expended, descriptions of all expenditures, and more.
- The database would be updated yearly
- Information on grants and contracts provided by government agencies. All transactions above $25,000 would be accessible to the public;
- Agency performance indicators and quarterly performance results compared to these indicators;
- Agency line-by-line appropriation analysis including user-friendly detailed monetary breakouts and detailed narrative descriptions.[3]
